Vidal Sassoon Passes Away at 84

Legendary hairstylist Vidal Sassoon passed away at the age of 84 in Los Angeles. He styled hair for seven decades and is best known for pioneering the 1960s geometric haircut. He also coiffed Mia Farrow’s long hair for “Rosemary’s Baby.” Born in London, Sassoon opened salons there and relocated to the US, where he also opened salons and sold his name to Procter & Gamble to manufacturer the Vidal Sassoon line of hair products.
